The Target app is a go-to shopping companion for millions, but navigating large stores to find specific products can be time-consuming. To enhance the in-store experience, I designed an AR Navigation feature that helps users locate products efficiently with augmented reality guidance. This feature seamlessly integrates with Target’s existing app, improving convenience and reducing shopping time.

Testing it out
I built an interactive prototype in ProtoPie that used motion sensors to simulate navigating through a store. Shoppers could point their phones and follow on-screen directions as if they were walking through actual aisles. Testing it helped surface what felt natural, where users got stuck, and what needed simplifying to make the experience truly useful.
